Very easy installation, but I will say I installed it about a minute after taking the new iPad out of the box & removing the protective covering it's shipped with so the chances of fingerprints, dust, or oils to worry about were minimal. One very tiny air bubble that was easily removed with the tool provided. No pun intended, but the surface feels "smooth as glass" and the screen is just as responsive as if there was nothing covering it.
