I really like the sleeve. It fits really well and holds the silicone pad in place. The pad is too thick in my opinion. It does help cushion and protect that part of the foot. I have a corn on my foot because I favor that area of my foot when I walk which has caused a lot of pressure and callus build up. As I am trying to rid myself of it the padding helps alleviate the constant pressure I put on it.
The sleeve is the best part for me and I will probably replace the padding for something less bulky.
What's cool about the silicone though is that it can be washed as well as the sleeve.
All in all it is helping.
