I got two. Let me first say the design is wonderful! We plug in our USB and Microwave in to it and it handles the electrical draw just fine. Our kitchen is just dumb...it does not have nearly enough electrical units. So we had to improvish. Of course we are being safe. The toaster, the cell phones, the coffee pot are all more than safe on this unit. It has a feature which also turns off the power to the upper portion or lower. Defintely a worth while extenion peice!
