Wow, I bought this because the bed I have has been giving me problems lately due to an injured shoulder. This added a good amount of coushion and really helps with my sleep now that my shoulder is less bothered. Any smell that was from manufacturing dissipated in 1 day after opening the package.. I am very happy with this and look forward to continued better sleep now! Oh and it doesn't seem to hold heat either so that is a plus.
