rugged utility knives

My husband is a construction contractor and uses a lot of utility knives. He always keeps one in his pocket. His current one is beginning to wear out from repeated use so I decided to buy him a replacement. I decided to purchase these utility knives from RegerKnife because they come in a 2 pack. I thought he could keep one in his pocket and keep the other one in his nail apron or toolbox. The set comes with the two utility knives and a pack of 5 extra blades.

The knives have aluminum handles and steel blade retaining plate. Each knife has a metal belt clip and a red plastic area with an opening that can be used to hang it or to insert a keyring. The knifes are about 4 ½ inches long and 2 inches wide. They are about 7 inches long when fully extended. Each knife weighs about 5.3 ounces. They each have a release button on the side for opening and closing the blade. The button locks the blade in place for added safety. The blades can quickly be changed with a click of the button on the blade retaining plate. Both knives came with a clear plastic cover over the blades to avoid accidental cuts. My husband left it in place so he would always have it handy when it came time to change to blade to protect his fingers from accidentally sliding down the blade while changing it out. This is a great quality utility knife for home or work use.
