I had previous version of this. I like the upgrade of one whole side being the USB connections. The plugs are also large enough for sizeable adapters such as for a laptop. The best new feature is the wireless charging top. I have this on my bed, so I can charge my phone overnight and during the day I can use a longer cord to charge on my desk. This saves me so much space and surge protection is especially for my electronics.
