At first I was skeptical. There is no brand on the box, the unit, or the instructions pamphlet. The instructions are in very broken English and the logos on the side of the box read "Upside down" and "Third gear wind" which makes absolutely NO sense. It was clear they didn't double check anything that had to do with product design - but that's besides the point.
I turned the knob and pressed it in (to turn on the "Mute humidification") and to my surprise it was actually quite refreshing. The air was cool, and the mist was a nice touch. I especially like the cycling LED lights that indicate the fans speed. While I don't think it would make much of a difference in a large room, it would be great for a desk or to take with you since it's wireless and light!
