I'm on a computer at least 12 hours per day and make decisions on computer hardware for the company I work for. I'm always on the lookout for a nice keyboard and mouse combo.
This is very slim, but well made. It's quiet on it's own, but also comes with a clear keyboard cover which is awesome. It essentially makes it silent, and keeps it clean and spill resistant. The keyboard is rechargeable (USB), which initially had me worried as I've had these before that didn't even make it through one day of work. No worries with this one, it's has a great life span and I haven't had it die on me yet. (I charge at the end of the day.)
The mouse is nice and sleek but not mini or awkward, it's not completely silent but it only has a slight "clicking" sound... overall it's still one of the quietest ones I've used and it's responsive. This takes batteries and I haven't had to replace them yet.
I'm definitely buying another set for my office and will recommend these when we need replacements around the office.
It's definitely a good pick for traveling as well. Overall I would definitely recommend this set.
