After using my Instant Pot to cook seasoned chicken I noticed the rubber ring still had very slight spice smell. I decided to buy the replacement rings that gave me multiple colors. I use a colored ring for different items that are cooked. Blue for bakery (delicious cheesecake) White for chicken and so on….. This may not be a solution for everyone but it works for me.
