I suffer with receding gums which has caused me many problems. There is no cure, the best way to keep on top of the problem is to keep up to cleaning teeth frequently.
Other than brushing twice a day I also use interdental brushes and I use this oral irrigator which is brilliant. It keeps gums free of debris and the mouth feels ever so clean after use.
This particular unit has a wide variety of irrigators that are easily changed out, a power control on the irrigator extension as well as a pressure control on the main body of the unit, and a sufficiently sized reservoir to complete your cleaning task.
The pump noise is apparent but minimal and the overall operation of the unit is as expected.
The entire unit is very reasonably priced and works just like your dentist and periodontist would want. Cleaning is straightforward by running a vinegar solution through every few weeks.
