Charcoal is all the rage and with good reason, it is natural and has great cleansing abilities. I have used other sponges in the past all just sponges, but this is really cool made of a really dense feeling Konjac. What is Konjac well it’s a potato plant or Konnyaku a perennial plant native to Asia it is about 97% water and very rich in minerals. It feels very different from your normal sponge. The black charcoal one is very good for people with problem skin like acne. I have been using these for a while and I really see a difference. My skin feels so much smoother and looks brighter. I love these only wish they made them a little bigger. You do need to soak it and it will get hard after use, but soaking will bring it right back to life.
