As someone who has only been driving a few years, I find it hard to try & predict what other drivers may do! So, as I have children & I'm disabled, I felt that I needed something that I could use if the worst happens & I'm in an accident. I have given 1 to my mom too. It is small enough to keep in the door pocket & light enough that I could use it if required. I think everyone should have 1 in their car. It ripped through an old jumper easy enough, so a seatbelt should be no match really. I just hope I never actually need to use it!
