I gave this to my sick, very bored kiddos. It made them both cry. The markers were impossible to open to put water in them (several adults tried.) They eventually broke from attempts to open. The water markers are kind of the whole point.. This item does have many excellent reviews so hopefully it was just this one. I would give it the benefit of doubt. I just hate when an item meant to cheer up my kids has the opposite effect.
