I really dont know what purpose these are for but i have plans to use them in a haloween decoration. they look pretty cool their much bigger than i thought so ill have to modify my plans but the lights and different sequnces are great. leads to a nice variety of colors and patterns. Yes there are for decoration on a desk they serve no other means than looks so im happy with them. wish the cords were longer but all in all im happy.
