We bought these support straps for our grandson, who is a power lifter in high school. He reports to us that they provide the wrist support that he has been needing. They are held in place with very strong Velcro-type material that holds very well. The thumb loops help in keeping them from creeping up his arm. Very good product! #Sport2People
