Beautiful but smelly

I think this strand of pearls is SO beautiful, but the smell is very offputting. I placed it outside for a few days and the smell has dissipated a bit, but still there. There are 200 feet, so the projects are endless. The seller includes a pair of scissors and you can buy different colors. I will be looking into the other colors, because I want some cream and white as well. If you dont mind the smell, this is an excellent value. If smells bother you, I would probably look elsewhere.
