Received the device in a well constructed package. It works well; however, there seem to be a few issues with Microsoft Windows. The reader does not enumerate as a traditional USB device. Therefore, it does not invoke a pop up message when you install it or does not allow USB safe removal. It does not show up in the folder explorer unless there is a disk in the reader. However, none of this negates that it does the job required at an attractive price.
