I installed two of these 8 weeks ago and love them. They were easy to install and each one took me about 10 minutes to complete. I did find that they are not compatible if you have the bottom socket connected to a light switch. Both of these sockets are always on and you can't use a switch to turn one on or off independently. But that is not an issue for me since I don't plan to have a lamp connected to these outlets.
I like that they are both high speed chargers. I have owned a large "phablet" style phone for the last 3 years. My phones have very large batteries and can use the extra power that these USB ports put out. It is nice that both the USB ports put out the same power. That way nobody is fighting over the high output side and I don't have to remember which side that is. My eyes aren't good enough any more to read the micro printing on some of the other outlets that tell which side has high output and which side is trickling at a lower rate.
The best part for me is that I installed them in the place where I want out electronics to be charged. The kids have put away the plug for their chargers and they like to use these outlets. This keeps all the electronics and power cords in one place. I don't have to search all over the house to find where one of the kids moved a power cord to.
