I got both of the boys multitools for Christmas. But my oldest wasn't all that impressed with the one he got. It is much smaller and does fit nicely in a pocket or attach with a carabiner, but it is not the strongest or sturdiest when you need something a little heavier duty. I originally picked up THIS multitool for ME, so Iwould have one to use. But he stole it. So maybe I need to go find the smaller one and toss it in my purse so I have it for anytime I might need one. This one is much larger and a little heavier than the one his brother got, and it is easy to unfold and use. It has multiple tools on it, hence the name multi-tool, including a strong and solid pair or pliers. It is well made, durable, and sturdy. It is going to work wonders for him on his Scouting trips, as well as come in handy around the house, too. He was quite pleased with i - enough so to steal it from me!
