A very bright torch but by using the switch above the lights it can be dimmer if you want.The big plus with this item is that the light itself can be moved to point down so you light up what is directly in front instead of half a field away. The light could still pick up the eyes of a cat hundreds of yards away giving me time to put the hounds on their leads before they saw it.
