At the price point this clippers/pruners was offered at, it's a very good purchase. They arrived sharp.
The closure latch works fine.
The handles were super padded (extra padding that you don't normally find in garden pruners) but after just one afternoon using them to prune blackberry brambles (think: thorns) a lot of the extra padding had gouges and pieces taken out of it. It doesn't bother the performance of the pruners; they just don't looke brand new anymore. They still work fine.
