I think we've all been there when we forget to leave dinners protein defrosting in the fridge while we are at work or running errands just to come home to make dinner and realize the meat still frozen. And I believe we've all been disappointed when we try the defrost setting in our microwaves to find that it did not defrost but actually cooked the center. This tray is super convenient and I was skeptical about this but it really works. Just place the frozen item on top while you get the rest of the ingredient ready to start cooking. I'm happy with this tray.
