This Hover Field Hockey toy by #Aywewii looks like a lot of fun. It comes with a hover puck 2 hockey sticks and 2 field goals with net!
First off the puck takes 2 AAA batteries (not included) , and the battery cover needs to be unscrewed to insert the batteries, so be sure you have a tiny screw driver so that you can loosen and remove the battery plate, as well as tighten it once the batteries are inserted.
Next the field hockey sticks need to be put together. Very easy to do. No issues in doing so. Went together easily.
Now let's t as ll about the goals. It also needs to be put together. This went together with ease. The nets went on rather easily too. The issue came with play. They were constantly tipping over. The way I rectified this was placing it in the grass at each end of my driveway and burying the back bars with some dirt both inside and out to keep it from tipping over. After a few minutes the kids decided it was a pain and decided to play without it. So the game while a hit, the goals are a bust. Save your breath and time and I wouldn't even bothering putting it together.
While it says it's good for indoor or outdoor use, I personally wouldn't recommend playing indoors with it. While the hover puck does have foam around its circumference and ed edge, there is still a little bit of weight to it. That said, one good swing of that hockey stick can send it flying into a glass curio cabinet or statue shattering it. Forget the broken item. I'd worry about glass cutting a child. For this reason I'd recommend this toy for outdoor use only.
My kids and grandson love playing with it in the driveway, and we use large boxes with a socks inside to hold it in place, at each end of my long driveway as goals. This wo UK is much better than the goal included.
For $19.99 this is a good family fun gift. Just be sure to include a small 4 pack of AAA batteries as the puck takes 2 AAA batteries.
