Lockdown Haircuts!

I bought this set because I desperately needed to cut my hair - but obviously, because of lockdown, I am not able to visit a hairdressers.

I am by no means a professional - but I have been scouring YouTube for beginner tutorials and just needed the equipment. What attracted me to this set is that it seems to have plenty of useful items. Included are hair cutting scissors, hair thinning scissors, 1 comb, 2 hair clips, 1 cleaning cloth, 1 screw adjustment tool, 1 salon cape and a handy leather case to keep it all in.

Firstly, it looks very impressive.The case is small and compact and opens up to reveal a nice set of black, matching items. The scissors are stainless steel  and feel slightly heavy. They are comfortable to grip and cut nicely. I would prefer tham slightly sharper, but I feel they are good for home haircuts rather than professional salons, so the price is reflected in that. I do have small hands though and I am aware that they might be a bit too small for some people. Just be aware, just in case. The hair clips are so handy. and feel very strong and secure. Perfect for holding my long, thick hair out of the way. The salon cape is nice quality. It's shiny, thin material rather than the usual cheap plastic ones, so that impressive. I was very happy with the results, so I'm pleased I chose this set.

I really think this is great for lockdown haircuts. I'm not convinced it's salon quality, but if you want to just tidy up your family's or your own hair, it's a brilliant little set. I'm no hairdresser, but if I can do it, anyone can!
