The Pre-revolutionary flag was designed in 1775 by Christopher Gadsden, an American General and politician, and was flown by the Continental Marines during the Revolution. The snake and motto were clearly aimed at the British. It remains one of the favorite historical American flags to this day.
This flag is an inexpensive 3x5 ft flag and made to hold up well in reasonable wind. They said 'no hurricanes' LOL. Good for the price.
