A Little Different But Works as Advertised

Im a PC builder and often find myself showing, working on or testing PC's in locations that may not have a wired internet connection so I purchased this Wise Tiger Dual Band USB 3.0 WiFi Adapter to help me in those situations and for that it has worked great.

So the WISE TIGER AC1300 Super Speed Dual Band Wifi Adapter is compatiable with 802.11 b/g/n/a/ac networks and can connect to your router either on the 2.4Ghz(Up to 400Mbps), or 5Ghz(Up to 867Mbps) signals.  It connects using a USB 3.0 port and is a bit thicker than your standard USB plug but also comes with an extension cable so that it wont block any nearby ports. 

Now to explain my title.  This WiFi USB dongle, other than something provided by a mobile carrier, is the only dongle I have ever had that you couldnt just plug in,let windows detect, connect and use as the WISE TIGER AC1300 Super Speed Wifi Adapter comes with a seperate USB dongle with software/drivers that must be installed before you can actually use it. Now  by reading some of the reviews some people who purchased this item and cant get it to work must not have read the listings description as right at the top it does tell you this and gives you the instrustions on how to install the adapter but yeah, just something different about this stick that you dont get with most WiFi adapters.

Well thats about all I have to say about this Wifi Adapter as yes it works a little different than I am used to but it does work.   Also I like the design with a kind of bumpy texture feel to it that makes it look neat as well as feel a bit more rugged.   So overall if your looking for a decent wifi adapter this should be one of your choices as #1 it works and #2 it comes in with a competitive price and #3 it looks cool.
