Yes they are light any comfortable. Not much for protection. The material is this and would not be suffiecient for a person who is vulnerable or if someone has the disease and in close quarters to offer the extra protection.
If you are just looking for a face covering. These may suffice. Remember though, wearing one of these is like wearing a paper towel.
