It is definitely not strong enough for a 30kg dog. Mine is a 26kg bullterrier but it is way too weak for her. Maybe for a not muscle type dog would be manageable with it. Also, the handle is designed for small-handed people, maybe only for children and women. I had to return this product as I cannot use it for my doggy.
