So disappointed. It is too small, oddly shaped, and hurts to wear

I was really looking forward to my new swim cap as I swim daily and the chlorine in the pool is really damaging to my blonde hair. The hat is very well made and I thought it would be perfect but when I put it on it is a weird shape that is way too small around my head but has too much silicone for the top of the head so it compresses my head in a band around the ear, neck and brow area but has extra material on the top of my head. I would need an oddly shaped narrow tall head for this to fit.  It creates a suction around the ear area that hurts my ears and, quite frankly, is painful to wear.

I have worn a swimming cap before and it was comfortable and easier to wear.  This swim cap that is made of slick silicone is hard to put on, uncomfortable to wear and simply an odd wrong size.  There is no way I could keep this on even for a few minutes so I can't imagine wearing it doing laps for an hour or two in the pool.
