Nice but Doesn't Work Great w/ Phone Case On

I have an iPhone XS Max that I started to have problems charging with the cable, so I switched to wireless charging.  I even got a super thin Symmetry Otterbox w/ built in Pop Socket, so it would charge on the wireless pad with the case on.  And I have no problems charging it with the case on, with the wireless charger I've been using.  But when it's laying on the charging pad, I can't use it, so I thought getting the upright style, like this KZY Fast Wireless Charger Stand might be nice.  

So this item looks really nice and seems heavy and well made. I like that it stands almost all the way upright, and you can bend it back to adjust the angle.  It does fold completely flat, as well.  It's also got rubber feet to keep it from slipping, which is a perfect touch.  And the set came with the charger, as well as micro USB cord and plug in adapter. 

However, I can't get it to charge with the case on it.  I put the phone on, get it in the right spot, so it starts charging.  But then after 30 secons or so, it stops charging again.  I've been using wireless charging for awhile, so I'm familiar with the necessity for getting the phone in just the right spot.  And I even removed the pop top from the pop socket, to see if that would help.  It still does the same thing.  And the case I have, the Otterbox Symmetry, is a very thin case.  So I took it out of the case, and it charges just fine.  But my phone is all cracked up, so taking it in and out of the case every time I need to charge it is not an option, as removing the case puts a lot of stress on the phone.  

The other thing that I noticed is that I don't see either the UL or ETL symbols on the device or the plug adapter.  I'm sort of paranoid that way when it comes to electronics, so I generally don't use anything that isn't either UL or ETL listed.  Others may not care.  There may be a symbol used on items that come from China, so I've included pics of the symbols on both pieces.

But again, I have gotten cheap electronics and I've gotten nice ones, and this definitely seems nice enough.  It's not real lightweight and flimsy like some electronics I've gotten from overseas.  So I felt like I still needed to give it 4 stars.  I mean, it may work with other cases or other models of phones, and as for the UL or ETL thing, that's pretty much solved by unplugging it if you're leaving the house for awhile.
