When you plug this in for the first time, it will ask you to download an app. That detection and installation process is quite intuitive. The app isn't too bad, either. (See the attached screenshot.) It's relatively easy for someone that's technically savvy to back up files or view those on the flash drive. For those used to Apple's extremely intuitive interfaces i love the color pink and it was not bad to use.
