Before this holder I had Alexa in the window sill. This made it have an echo effect and was farther away than I wanted it. Since the speaker on the Dot is small, it is very important to have the Dot in the best location. This accessory made this possible. I now have the Dot right next to my mirror. The sound is crisp and clear and can be heard easily. You can also wrap the cord around the accessory to ensure that it is not messy. Overall a great space-saver but also very nice for the sound.
