Great for cleaning up sweaters

There is nothing worse than finding the perfect sweater that works great with anything, wearing it a few times, and then it beginning to pill and ball up and look less than new. I hate how a beautiful, soft gorgeous sweater can look used after just a few times wearing it and one simple washing. I picked up this set of sweater combs hoping they would help me tackle this issue and keep my sweaters looking new.   In the package you get a black and a white sweater comb with covers over the mesh tops and a soft measuring tape. The sweater combs are easy to use, fit nicely and comfortably in your hand, and work great. I am very impressed with how they work. Of course, I haven't yet used one on a sweater, but I CAN say that my pillows on my couch have never looked better! We have burgandy velvet pillows on our couch, which doesn't work very well with dogs. Lots, and I mean, lots of stray dog hairs. Plus when you have a large drooly mastiff, you get slingers and dog drool on things, too. We always wipe up the slobber  (keeping towels in the living room for that very purpose), but my poor pillows are no looking as good as they did when I first bought them. I have tossed them in the wash, but that didn't make them any better. It removed the yuck, but they were left looking less than new. I spent about half an hour cleaning all four pillows and they look brand new now. I am so impressed with how they look now.   The combs are simple in design. The mesh is more of a plastic and is rough to the touch, but works great on whatever you use them on. They don't require any batteries or anything else to operate them. No charging. No plugs. Nothing. Just roll them over your sweater or whatever else you have that you want to clean up and they are shaved clean.   And clean up is just as easy as use is. You simply pop the mesh cap off and wipe it down. It does take using a brush to clean the mesh though. You can't just shake it free and have the lint and stuff fall off of it. I tried wiping it clean with my fingertips and picking it out with my fingernails before resorting to the brush to clean it up. And the brush made it so much easier to clean. Once I was done I was able to resume cleaning the pillows once more and it worked just as good as when I started.   I am very happy with these brushes and can't wait to dig out my sweaters to clean them up. The weather here has already changed in our area and it has been in the upper 70s and a few days it has been in the 80s, so my sweaters have already made their way in to the drawers. And for this area, where the spring feels like summer and the summers are triple digits, so even short sleeved sweaters are too warm to wear.   Definitely a great addition to my home because I can use it on things other than the limited amount of sweaters I have. It is a must if you have sweaters or things that need some cleaning.
