Does increase sound.

These work.  I've had hearing lose for awhile but couldn't afford hearing aids so I finally tried these.  I've never worn any kind of hearing aid device so it is definitely something I have to get used to.  The instructions suggest a couple of hours a day and work up to longer.  They do amply sound...all sounds--even the microwave bell which I didn't know was so loud!  I really just needed something to help me hear the tv without having it up so high and maybe hear what people are saying a little easier. These do that so I'm pleased.
