Fast Charger Turned Into Slow Charger

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.  The phone is great, but the charging cord that came with it is and only about three feet long.  I purchased this cord because of the nice length (5 feet!) and the nylon braided cord (which is a must of you have cats like me who love to chew on cords).  I also loved the fact that the included attachment made for a multi-purpose charging cord.  BUT... the fast charging cord quit charging at the fast speed after approximately two weeks of use.  I thought maybe it was the charging port it was plugged into.  So I had my husband plug into his Google Pixel XL charging port, and try using it with his phone.  We got the same results.  So, while this cord is durable in its build and has a great length and bonus adapter, I cannot particularly recommend it.  But it DOES still work for regular slow charging.  So if you just need a charger and don't intend to use you phone too much while its charging, then this is still a great charger to have.
