BATTERY-OPERATED LED CARBON MONOXIDE GAS DETECTOR

~ What ~
This white 4.3 inch in diameter and 1.77 inch tall round device can detect the carbon monoxide level in a room. It includes an LED screen that shows the ppm level of the gas and warns if it is unsafe to breathe the air. It comes with instructions in a box, but the needed 3 AA batteries are not included.

~ Why ~
We have been using an electrical plug-in one of these units for at least 10 years, and I like the secure feeling of knowing if there are harmful chemicals in the house. I am impressed that this one has an LED screen that tells you what level of carbon monoxide gas is in the room. I like that it flashes and chirps warnings.

~ Why Not ~
Those who do not like having a safety unit in their room may avoid this important product. It testing it, the LED stated 000 and never changed so I have no way of knowing it is working or not.

~ Wish ~
I wish the detector came with the 3 required AA batteries. It would be ideal if it were available in other colors to match a room’s décor as it states on it not to paint it.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for a way to know how much carbon monoxide is in your home and if it exceeds any safety levels, this is a great way to do it at a reasonable price.
