short battery life

I have previously owned Sony and SamSung MP3 players and after recieving this player I was at first, very excited. It looked really nice and the button action smooth and lit up. So I loaded it up with music and it took over and hour to load what normally takes minutes. Then I began playing audiobooks and quickly discovered the battery died out after one day of service. I had recently purchased another MyMahdi model M280 and it lasted for 3 days! I was REALLY impressed and couldn't wait for the Bluetooth model to be released. So I bought this one, the M290 and now I am sadly disappointed. The Bluetooth is fine and I finally figured out how to operate it.. but, it does not compare to the older model.
