Not a bad starter set for teenagers

Both of my boys are getting older, and with that it means more grooming needs. They are little hairy beasts, thanks to genetics, and I wanted to help them learn to tame the fuzz in whatever way possible. I picked up a nice trimming set last year that has been used a LOT and wanted to make sure my youngest has the tools he needs since his older brother seems to hog the other. I got this trimmer for him to start using and caring for his appearance.

In this set you get the trimmer, a few attachments, the cable, and a small base. I have no clue how the different attachments would work, since they look almost the same and look flat rather than being something you'd expect to have angle to it to pick up hair, but we didn't get it so much for those options as for the sideburn trimmer and to clean up neck hair between haircuts.

We have had no trouble with using this trimmer. It has worked decently, though it isn't the closest shave and definitely not as close as a razor, contrary to what their Amazon listing claims. I have helped my son with trimming, cleaning edges, and tackling unibrows. The biggest problem we have had is teaching my son how much to shave off and how close to get!

This is not the greatest trimmer, but it does the job. It works great for my 12 year old who is just learning, so I am not overly concerned with the quality of the shave. He has peach fuzz. I am sure you could get better performance a decent starter set for my youngest son to use.
