I burn incense a lot because I enjoy the various scents and the smell of burning wood, I find it rather soothing. As I enjoy the wood aspect of the sticks of incense, I don’t get cone incense very often. However, I decided to try and give this cone incense by Corcio a try as I have tried some of their other products and enjoyed them. This particular pack comes with 70 incense cones in a variety of scents and their corresponding colors. The package was undamaged when it arrived and the product was safely secured in a plastic tub as well, so the incense cones arrived undamaged. At $7.99 for 70 cones of incense, this seemed like a steal if the incense cones were good quality and burned well.
This pack advertising a mixture of scents that includes Jasmine, Yulan Magnolia, Lily, Lavender, Mint, Rose, Indian Sandalwood, and Tibet Incense. I burned each of the various colors, but I found it difficult to discern the scents from the general smell of smoke. I was able to do so more easily when I divided the colors and stored them separately from each other instead of keeping them all in the one plastic tub they arrived in. The cones, in my experience, burned for about ten to twelve minutes, as opposed to the advertised fifteen minutes. Each of the scents was definitely subtle compared to the general smoke smell, but I still found it to be pleasing. That said, keep in mind that I do enjoy the smell of smoke as well.
Overall, I would rate these incense cones with a 3 out of 5 stars. I think these incense cones are decent quality for what you pay for it, but I have definitely had better cones. I think the reviews on the page are very confusing, as some talk about a Buddha figurine, some talk about the incense cones, and some talk about something else entirely that I could not quite figure out. The scents came out better after I sorted the incense cones, but it was a hassle to have to sort them out myself and I had to come up with my own storage containers to do so, so they were not very convenient. Would I buy the set again? Probably not, since there are definitely incense types I prefer, but I do think it is worth the $8.00 they are charging.
