These are definitely no pull or tug hair ties and they hold my hair just fine. They are almost like a velvety silky elastic type of material. If you zoom in on the picture on amazon, you’ll see what I’m talking about. I’m not sure what it’s called, but it works! I got the neutral colors and there are plenty of each. These are holding their shape after multiple uses. Absolutely wonderful!
