My grandson is 3 1/2 and these tools fit his had very well. The are chunky and are easy to grip. You can learn to screw in screws, turn the gears, and hang up the tools on the rack that is included in the kit. When youre done playing, it all fits neatly in the carrying case. You have to take it a part and flip the main part over, then load all of the stuff back in, but it will all fit. Great for traveling.
