With all the crafting we do in our home, I wanted to add this pin vise hand drill to the tools we have available. I thought it would be good to have something small we could easily use rather than having to get the power drill out and plug it in or find a battery that is charged up. I was surprised at how it arrived, though. It was all in a clear plastic bag with no labeling or branding on it, no directions, no information. Inside was a small handle that you can twist the top on to open and close the part that holds the drill bit and a smaller ziplock style bag with all of the drill bits. The drill bits range in size from 0.5mm up to 3mm. There are 30 different drill bits in the package. I was shocked at how tiny the smallest ones were. They reminded me of pencil lead for a mechanical pencil, but were even smaller than that. I can't even imagine what kind of craft or item might need a drill bit THAT small. Regardless of the packaging and lack of directions, I do think this is a decent set of drill bits. I just don't think I will be using most of them since they are SO small. I did have to go find something to put things in - the drill bits in an old pill bottle then both in a small clear bag that I then put in the tool box with the other drill bits that my husband uses. If you are looking for a small hand drill that you can use for crafting purposes or simply because you need one for other things, this is one to consider. But then again, I have never used a hand drill, so have nothing to compare this to. For ME this has worked fine. One thing I DID discover - I am puny. It takes a little more muscle behind it sometimes to get things done and I don't have much muscle!
