Nice cables, work great

We never seem to have enough cables on hand in our home, and my husband has told me to keep my eyes open for type C cables to review for him since he is now in need of more. But I picked these up originally for the boys. I actually took them to my bedroom immediatley after taking pictures of them and plugged them in to the QI charger I have in there. I put my phone on the QI charger at night, but plug their phones in to it using the micro-usb cables so that I keep them in my room instead of them being distracted by them in the night.   There are two sets of braided micro usb cables in this package. Each one is a reddish color and has a braided cover over the wiring. I prefer the braided cables over the plastic or rubberish shieldings because they don't crack or split like the others. They seem to be well made. I haven't had problems with my braided cables in the past, using a few different ones for my own phone all the time. The braiding hasn't frayed on my other sets, so I know the braiding on these should work well for our needs for awhile.   The ends fit well in the boys' phones, too. So far they have gone in with no wiggling or falling out. The connection is secure and immediate. I see their phones immediately connect and begin charging as soon as I plug them in.   I haven't used them for transferring of files or information, though, only for charging. So I can't say for sure whether they are quick at transferring things or not. I did not buy them for that reason. Well, not quite true. I did buy them the cables to the boys to use, not knowing if they would need them for transfer. Typically they use their cables to charge their phones and for nothing more. But I liked the cables too much to let them have them, so replaced the shorter, plastic shielded ones in my bedroom with these instead.   Regardless, these are great cables. I love the velcro that is attached and allows you to coil them up to keep them from getting messy.  It has helped clean up the area in my bedroom and help me manage the cables so that I can easily plug in their phones each night when I go to bed.
