The exterior of the bag is cloth with a hard plastic shell.

Installing this was easy on my segway ES3, there are 4 velcro straps and you put it in the front of the scooter, or back of the scooter.

Storage: This bag can store more than it looks, I was able to store 2 bottles of water and a U Lock., perfect for going around for a short trip. It does not upset the balance of the scooter.
