Surprisingly clear in more ways then one.

Sound on this little speaker has such clarity. I have hearing problems and when I heard how clear the sound was I immediately claimed this as my audio book/podcast speaker and am so happy to give my ears a break from headphones.   The music sounds ok and the forward facing speaker gives it more projection than the top-mounted speakers.  What this speaker lacks is "depth" of sound. There is no bass. That makes it perfect for my use - audio books or jamming to some tunes while outdoors or in the shower. But if you want bass effects and deep low tones, look elsewhere. I recommend trying it, it's lightweight, cute and easy to use.
