I bought this for my grandma as she has tons of orchids. She loves it. It does a lot more than the one she has now. It tells if the light is dark or light. If the plant is too dry or too wet and need more water or no water. It also tells you if the soil is alkaline or acidic. You can also set the meter to moist, pH or light.
