The smart plug works a lot better than I thought. The connection never fades out. You connect using Wifi so you can control it with your smartphone from anywhere around the house. The Android App the plug uses lets me turn off the lights with the click of a button from the comfort of my bed. You can also integrate the plug with Alexa or google assistant. I used both and it works really well with either of them. Now, I use it all the time with my Echo dot. 10/10 would recommend
