The Kolaura Outdoor Security Camera, 1080P Wireless Home Surveillance Bullet Camera, IP66 Waterproof, Support 2 Way Audio, Night Vision, Motion Detection, Cloud Storage Service device is extremely frustrating, with unclear instructions, but it works. At first look the unit felt low quality, the plastic base felt flimsy, the cord seemed extremely short, and the instructions were awful. It talks about the reset button but a button didn’t exist anywhere on the device, it wasn’t shown in the graphic in the instructions, and wasn’t discussed any further than to hold down for 5 seconds. 

The first thing I did after installing the app and plugging it in was it requiring me to reset it. I looked everywhere for the reset button. It didn’t exist in plain sight. After a while I came to the conclusion that since I couldn’t visibly see a button OR where the memory card goes it must be accessible somewhere. The whole front of the camera pops up but then has resistance, so that wasn’t it. Finally, I decided to find a screw driver and open the part where the sound is coming from. Directly inside the door is an unmarked button AND a slot for the memory card.

How to find the reset button should have been listed in the instructions and the entire unit should’ve come with a complementary Philips screwdriver since that’s the FIRST thing I had to do was take it apart. 

After finally getting it reset the app walked me though how to set up the unit the rest of the way. I did not encounter any issues during the rest of the setup. 
The cord on this camera is not as long as I expected. I had a very difficult time placing it by a plug. 

The camera itself does have a nice quality picture, the app is user friendly and straightforward to use. You are able to take a record video via the app and save it to your phone, as well as taking still pictures. It has the option of cloud storage or using a memory card. It does have functional 2-way talk, night vision, and motion detection. It says it's waterproof, although with how easy it was pop the front off I doubt highly it will last long.

The camera felt very hot while I had it running. I didn’t expect it to put out as much heat as it did. 

Overall, I am not impressed with how difficult it was to set up because the reset button wasn’t in the instructions. I don’t like how the camera feels, it lacks quality, and it’s not something I would purchase again or recommend.
