This helmet is cute. It seems to work just fine. The strap is easy to buckle and it is adjustable. It sits high on the head, just like most bike helmets. I woud prefer that they fit like motorcycle helmets but I am sure there is a reason for the way bike helmets are made. I bought this for my 4 year old grandson and wish they would have a few more designs to choose from. This is a little feminine for boys, especialy if they are a little older.
