Heated eye compress provides consistent heat

I currently have a blocked oil duct in one of my eyelids that requires I do a warm compress twice a day.  I've been doing them with a washcloth and hot water but found it cooled off rather quickly, requiring more hot water every minute or so.  When the opportunity to get a significate discount on the WU-MINGLU warm eye mask compress two pack for a review, it was perfect timing.

The package arrived on time and in perfect condition.  Inside the box are two eye mask compresses each in a plastic bag.  The black one is filled with Flaxseed while the silver one is filled with Semen Cassiae.  The instructions said the silver one is better for reducing inflammation, so that is the one I used.

They thoughtfully provided a label on each one in order to remember which filling is in each one.

I found the mask to be very easy to use.  Place it in the microwave, microwave it for the indicated time then place over my eyes and secure with the hook and loop strap.  I did find it necessary to set a timer for the 8-10 minutes they recommend the mask be used for as it was easy to lose track of time with it on.  I did find the recommended microwave times to be a bit too warm for my comfort.  I tried different times and preferred a time that is about 10 seconds less than the time listed in the instructions.  The mask provides a long-lasting consistent heat that lasted for the entire recommended usage time.  I found it to be a consistent, convenient way to do my twice daily warm eye compresses as directed by my eye doctor.
